Dr Jenny Duckworth has a research background in plant community ecology and has also worked for the conservation charity Plantlife as their Research Manager.

She is currently an Associate Lecturer and Assistant Staff Tutor at the Open University (OU), teaching students and supporting learning on undergraduate (environmental) science degrees.

She has a long-standing interest in science publishing, stemming back to over 20 years ago when she was an early career researcher taking the first steps towards publishing papers from her PhD.

This website is being developed as part of the H818 module she is studying to complete an OU MA in Online and Distance Education. It is very much a ‘work in progress’ at the moment but she hopes to develop it further in the future.
